London Railway Stations

London does not have one central station, instead the capital has a number of termini each serving a different part of the country.

In the beginning different railway companies built their own lines to service their own areas, and built their own terminus in the capital. Hence today you will find to get a train to another part of Britain , you will need to go to

• Paddington -    for trains to Cornwall, Devon, Wales and other places in the south west
• Waterloo    -    for central southern England
• Victoria      -    for south eastern England, including arrivals from Dover
• St Pancras -    for the east Midlands and the north via the east coast line
• Euston        -   for the west Midlands and the north via the west coast line
